The Rock Royale: 7BR/7BA Modern Chic Estate

This is a very interesting property taking a very old house and make some additions to make it into a VRBO. Couple of issues with this. The noise from people walking around, going up and down stairs is extremely loud. This is especially true in the master suite/former living room. If the guest in that room is first up, probably not an issue but since it was the opposite, it made it difficult to sleep in the morning. The other issue is the 5th full bathroom is attached to a little office (it does have a single fold out chair). It's a long walk for one of the three bedrooms upstairs to use that bathroom.On a positive note, the host was extremely responsive and helped manage the temperature remotely for our stay.

Great stay! The property was as described and the host was incredibly responsive to messages. They were also very accommodating with our check-in time, which made travel planning much easier. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The home is stunning and well suited for multiple couples/families. We gathered in Rockford for a funeral and had cousins and family from out of state. We had a meaningful time and the home is absolutely beautiful and well suited for gathering of people to talk and play games. And have breakfast coffee together. Definitely on the ‘stay again’ list thank you, Todd PS: the teen boys loved the arcade room and the rest of us loved the showers - nice renovation touch, very European
